Staff
I was saved and baptized by the First Baptist Church at Cookville, Texas.
I surrendered to the ministry at Longview Missionary Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. I attended 5 years at Texas Baptist Institute in Henderson, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of English Bible Degree.
The Lord has blessed my family with 3 children, all of which are married and involved in the Lord's work. My daughter is married to a pastor and living in Helena, Montana. My oldest son is working in the Sunday School department and is the music Director of a church in Dekalb, Texas and my youngest son is starting a church in Janesville, Wisconsin.
During my 36 years in the ministry I have pastored 9 churches in Texas, Oklahoma and Montana. I have led 3 churches to start missions and have been involved in mission work in Montana, Wyoming, and the Navajo Nation.
I am very blessed to be the pastor as such a wonderful church as Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and look forward to many years of service to the Lord, right here in Denison!

Bill Hancock - Music Director Bill is the Music Director for Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. He does a great job of organizing the music service, planning choir specials, and arranging for special music on Sundays. Bill is a great asset to the worship services.
Esther is the Pianist for Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She does a great job of assisting the Music Director with the worship service music, accompanying choir specials, and assisting with special music presentations on Sundays. Esther is a great asset to the worship services.
Marie Edwards - Nursery Director Ms. Edwards has been the Nursery Director for Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She does a great job of caring for the children in the nursery on Sundays and Wednesdays. Ms. Edwards is a great asset to assisting our parents with caring for their children during the worship services.
James Gaines - Sound/ Editing/ Television Ministry James has been a Sound/ Editing/ Television Technician for Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He does a great job of assisting with the sound system and editing for the television ministry. James also assists with the website administration. James is a great asset to the worship services.
Dennis Pace - Television Ministry 
Dennis has been the Television Ministry Technician for Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He does a great job of assisting with the taping of the worship services for broadcasting on Channel 29 and on the website. Dennis also assists as a on-call assistant teacher and preacher. Dennis is the instructor for the Discovery program and welcomes all ages to attend or lend a hand in the Discovery Program. Dennis is a great asset to the worship services.
