E-mail RustyI was saved and baptized by the First Baptist Church at Cookville, Texas.
I surrendered to the ministry at Longview Missionary Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. I attended 5 years at Texas Baptist Institute in Henderson, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of English Bible Degree.
The Lord has blessed my family with 3 children, all of which are married and involved in the Lord's work. My daughter is married to a pastor and lives in Denison, TX. My oldest son is working in the Sunday School department in Dekalb, Texas. My youngest son, Paul, serves as the Associate Pastor at Mt. Pleasant MBC in Denison.
During my 36 years in the ministry I have pastored 9 churches in Texas, Oklahoma and Montana. I have led 3 churches to start missions and have been involved in mission work in Montana, Wyoming, and the Navajo Nation.
I am very blessed to be the pastor as such a wonderful church as Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and look forward to many years of service to the Lord, right here in Denison!
